All week the forecast was for a good few hours of wind today, Friday 25th February. It was no where near enough this morning, but it came for half an hour or so just after midday. I was hoping to get over my target for the month but could only manage 7nm before it backed off to around 10knots.
The gauntlet has been thrown down by my friend who just bought new slalom boards. Marcus managed a top speed of 26.708knots, which was exactly the same as mine according to GPS results. Exactly the same, to a thousandth of a knot. This is unbelievable. I must do better next time ;-)
Total now 82mni, I need to do another 18 before the end of the month.
